If you would like to create new composites parts and assemblies, Indupol guides you through the entire development process, from concept to realization of the final product, and working according to APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning). You will be supported starting from the initial design idea, through modelling, mould, creation of supporting tools, prototyping, manufacturing scale-up as well as defining the best way of packing and transporting your products.

3D visualisations of designs

A new product always starts with an idea that we convert into a 3D impression. Even at this early stage, our engineers carefully study the design to examine its feasibility for future production.

Technical 2D drawings

Dimensions, tolerances and other product details are defined in 2D drawings. Technical drawings will be discussed with and approved by the customer and must incorporate all product requirements.

Material tests

Tests are carried out upon request or in specific cases like e.g. mechanical strengths, UV and chemical resistance, bonding, fire resistance, etc.

Prototyping and testing

Before serial production starts, a prototype is made so validation tests can be done by us and/or the customer. This way we can ensure that all requirements are being fulfilled.

Model & mould construction

Once the design has been approved, the creation of the so called ‘Mother Model’ or plug is one of the most critical steps. Some of our best craftsmen in our ow Wood Department, supported by our Engineering and Quality Department ensure the model is a perfect replica of the initial design. Once the model has been approved, the production of the moulds can start. In specific cases like automotive and railway projects, a PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) or FAI (Final Acceptance Inspection) for the model and/or mould will be organized. Positioning tools for inserts, fittings etc. are made by our own Metal Department.

Packaging, transport and logistics

If required, together with the customer we will search for the most optimal and economical way of transportation, developing the best way of packaging and transport frames to avoid damages, to optimize transport costs and to achieve the best way of handling at your assembly line. Indupol has the competence and know-how to develop customized transport frames, to handle and transport oversized products and to search together with you for the optimal solution.
